The Fraternal Order of Police Earl L. Brown Lodge is a fraternal organization with over 100 sworn members from various local law enforcement agencies including: Columbus Police Department, Bartholomew County Sheriff's Department, Brown County Sheriff's Department, Indiana State Police, Indiana Conservation Department, Indiana Excise Police, Hope Police Department, and Clifford Police. There are also over 150 associate members who help support Lodge 89.
Sworn Members
Sworn Members are those in good standing with their departments and have been voted in.
They must remain in good standing with their departments during their service to remain a member.

Associate Members
Associate Members are those who display responsible citizenship and who believe in the importance of supporting their local law enforcement community. Several events take place during the year that welcome those Associate Members to join in meeting with the Sworn Members. This partnership helps strengthen the trust between law enforcement and the community members. We accept Associate Members any time.
